Right Angle Type Landing Valve is a type of fire hydrant / landing valve used in wet riser (and sometimes dry riser) systems inside buildings. Unlike the oblique type (45°) landing valve, the right-angle valve has a 90° outlet, which makes the hose connection point perpendicular to the inlet pipe. This design is widely used where space is less restricted and a neat, direct hose connection is preferred.
Applications
Installed on wet risers in stairwells or lobbies of high-rise buildings.
Provides firefighters with quick and secure access to water supply.
Common in compact riser cupboards where space is tight, since the outlet doesn’t protrude at an angle like oblique type.
